a new cartoon! whoa man
When I was little I never understood why cartoons were like this and I had read like a ton of animation books. I remember my parents taking me to see DuckTales the Movie and it finally clicked. Though you don't see this happen in cartoons a lot nowadays... what with computers and all |

this week's nockforce is about media made for tween girls! whoa!
Also don't forget to watch Rebecca Sugar's film, SINGLES!!!! it's finally online watch it here! I helped work on it! I did a boatload of inking and even animated some scenes! Yeah!
We finished moving to our new place. It's very nice and cozy. Everything is good about it except Time Warner Cable. Their upload speed is terrible. This is especially bad because I am in the business of uploading lots of videos to Youtube.
I started playing Majora's Mask last week. I never finished it back in the day. I wrote it off because it reused so many assets. But it's actually kind of cool. I don't know. I don't play any new video games.

Sunday night you know what time it is!
so... hope everyone had a good week. this last weekend was "animation block party" in brooklyn and jim and i both went to screenings. my lady's film "Singles" screened there and got a lot of applause!!
last week i got interviewed by frederator about stuff, mostly my 3-years-old film "UNFAIR". it was pretty cool. i was in a really weird place when i made that film. i don't think i would make anything that depressing/self-centered today that's for sure. i have some ideas for a new film. i don't want "UNFAIR" to be my final try at doing a full cartoon.
speaking of returning to old things i used to do, I made a new comic!!! it's been 4 years since i've really tried to get a comic off of the ground so i'm starting small, it's just a three pager. I have a bunch of more ideas for these characters so I plan to make more eventually. I am trying to forget everything from my RPG World days and relearn comics.
this week's gonna be a huge pain cuz i'm moving this weekend. packing's almost done!!! gotta go find more boxes!!! |

Heyyy our new cartoon just went up
Why is it going up on Wednesday afternoon instead of Sunday night? Well this is in association with Animation Block Party and Mydamnchannel... those guys are pretty cool, maybe if things work out we can do more things with them.
EDIT: Lil note about this quickie, the "popular kids" are a total parody of that crunchy "this is cool because it's poorly drawn" graphic design convention that seems to be everywhere these days. if i see another shakily hand-drawn block letter logo i'm gonna explode!
Workin on a lot of new stuff, nockFORCE-related and not. finally got some new comic ideas and more animation work seems to be coming thru for me... its weird because i usually get so hopeless about jobs. i've just been too busy lately to become hopeless. Also i'm looking for a new place to live in brooklyn... craigslist is burned into my eyes these days. |

rebecca and I are looking for a new apartment. man thats pretty tough but we've seen some nice places so far. We want a nice space for doing art and stuff. i dont need nothin fancy no sir. I started a new job last week its pretty fun so far. |

Niko wanted to animate a cartoon for us and he knocked it out of the park! Yeah! Niko creates the awesome cartoon GEOWEASEL and he is really talented!
I went to MoCCA this weekend and helped Rebecca sell Pug Davis comics! I also gave out a lot of nockFORCE stickers and met a ton of cool people. I didnt get to see everything though but I picked up the second book of "The Mourning Star" by Kaz it's def the best thing I got there, I love his stuff. |
